If you wish to change your course after commencing your studies or receiving your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from ALG, please follow the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Complete the required forms
To initiate the process, please complete and submit the following forms:
- Returning Student Application Form: This is your application for the new course/s.
- Course Cancellation Request Form: This is to cancel the course/s you no longer wish to continue.
Step 2: Eligibility criteria
Before submitting your request, ensure you meet the following criteria:
- Entry Requirements: You meet the eligibility requirements for the new course.
- Outstanding Fees: All outstanding fees have been paid in full.
- Active Notices: There are no active Notices of Intention to Report linked to your profile.
- AQF Level: The new course must be at the same AQF level or higher, unless documented compassionate or compelling reasons justify a transfer to a lower AQF level.
Step 3: Submit your request
Submit the required forms before the first Monday of the term in which you wish to switch courses.
Forms submitted on or after the first Monday will result in the change taking effect in the following term. You must complete your current term before the change is applied.
Note: While your application is being reviewed, you must continue attending your current course and maintain satisfactory progress. A decision will be communicated within 10 working days.
Step 4: Accept your new offer
If your request is approved, you will receive a new Letter of Offer.
- Follow the instructions on page 17 of the Letter of Offer to accept the new course.
- Tip: Study days are subject to availability, so accept the offer promptly to secure your preferred schedule.
Step 5: Finalise your enrolment
- Pay Fees: Complete payment as outlined in your new Letter of Offer.
- Receive Your Updated CoE: Upon finalisation, you will receive your updated Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
Step 6: Cancellation of current course
Your original course will be officially cancelled once the new term commences.
