We don't always get things right the first time around, which is why resubmission opportunities are available if you are marked Not Yet Satisfactory (NYS) for any of your assessment tasks!
Here are the options available to you based on when your assessment is due:
Assessments due in Weeks 1–9
You have up to three (3) submission attempts to be marked 'Satisfactory':
- Original submission: Results (Satisfactory or NYS) are provided within 5 business days of the due date or submission date.
- First resubmission: If you receive an NYS result, you have 2 business days to resubmit. Results are provided within 3 business days.
- Second resubmission: Results are provided within 3 business days of this submission.
Assessments due in Week 10
You have up to two (2) submission attempts:
- Original submission: Results are provided within 5 business days of the due date or submission date.
- First resubmission: If you receive an NYS result, you have 2 business days to resubmit. Results are provided within 3 business days, and all Week 10 resubmissions must be completed by Monday of Week 12. (Note: No second resubmission attempt is available for Week 10 assessments).
You can read more about your submission attempts by viewing the Assessment, Submission and Academic Integrity Policy and Procedure.
Still Not Satisfactory?
If you have utilised all your standard attempts within the term without achieving a satisfactory outcome, you may apply for a final paid resubmission in Week 2 of the following term (a penalty fee of $100 per assessment applies). If you remain Not Yet Competent after this attempt, you may be required to repeat the term in accordance with the Student Course Progress and Attendance Policy and Procedure.
