How do I get a Student ID card?

To get your Student ID card, simply reach out to your Student Experience Team.

Having a Student ID card comes in handy for many situations, including access to discounts on public transport in some states! Plus, if you are going on Work Placement in the future, a Student ID card may be required.

Before submitting your request, please ensure your photo meets the following criteria:

• Plain white background
• Well-lit image
• No hats or glasses
• A bright, friendly smile!

Once you have your photo ready, follow these steps to upload it to the Learning Portal (Canvas):

1. Log in to your Learning Portal (Canvas).
2. Click on 'Courses'.
3. Select 'Student Orientation'.
4. Click on 'Student ID'.
5. Choose your current campus.
6. Upload your photo to be used for your Student ID card.

Next, you can submit your request for the Student ID card via the webform in the Help Centre:

1. Select Student Support, then Student ID card.
2. Include your Full Name and Student Number in the request.

Your Student ID card will be printed within 5 business days. After this time, you can visit the front desk to collect your card. The cost of the card is covered by your tuition fees, so there are no additional charges. For students located in Sydney, please visit our Quay St Campus for collection.
