Why can't I access my Student Portal?

If you are unable to log in to your Student Portal — whether it’s due to a forgotten password or another issue — just follow these basic steps to regain access.

Before resetting your password:

  1. Make sure you are entering your Student ID as the username.
  2. Double-check that you have the correct password; it may be different from your Learning Portal password.

To reset your password:

  1. Click Forgot Password?
  2. Enter your Student ID as your Username.
  3. Provide the email address registered with ALG.
  4. Answer your security question and click Submit.

You will receive an email with a temporary password. Follow the instructions in the email to log in, then change your password to something new and secure.
